About Me

Hi I’m Ralph.

I am an architect. I have been designing buildings for over twenty years. I love architecture, especially places built to protect children’s laughter. i try to design buildings that tread lightly, tiptoeing on the earth, but my footprints have been heavy. I design places that breath and grow with the world around them.

I am a writer. In the early morning hours, or sometimes late at night I string together words and commit them to paper or screen. I’ve been doing this for almost as long as I have been designing buildings. I like to ask questions on paper and play with the potential answers. Earlier in my career I focused on writing non-fiction about the what the built environment is and was. Lately I have been writing more speculative fiction about what our world might become.

I am a father, a husband, a son, a brother. Living here in the Garden State, I am lucky to be surrounded by a family that I love and cherish. My wife and kids root me on.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you’ll take a look around, and if you see something interesting, dig in and share.

Best,
Ralph
